Community Talk About Fletwood Feral Rabits


We have a growing issue with multiplication and territory expansion of feral Rabbits in Surrey’s Fleetwood area. If we do not do anything about it right away, it can end up with City ordering that all rabbits be killed, like it happened with UVic rabbits a few years ago.

Bunny Homes Rabbit Rescue and Adoption is organizing a community talk on this subject, on September 16th, 12:00-1:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to inform well meaning people in Fleetwood Surrey what the issues are with these rabits, and how they can help in order to resolve the problem before it gets out of hand.

We are meeting in the lobby of Fleetwood Community Centre on 84 Ave and 160 Sttreet in Surrey, BC. Depending on weather and the number of people attending, we may move the meeting outside the community Centre, in the park next to it. If that happens, we will post signs to guide you to our meeting location.
